What we like
- Auto-incline up to 9% with 9 levels — calorie burn jumps significantly over flat walking
- 2.5HP motor stays quiet at desk-walking speeds (2-3 mph)
- Removable handlebar means it works under a standing desk or as a standalone treadmill
- App integration with preset HIIT programs and scenic route syncing
- Slim 6.5" profile slides under a sofa or bed for storage
Could be better
- Belt is only 16.5" wide — runners and taller users will feel cramped
- 9% max incline trails competitors like the DeerRun Z10 (12%)
- App is required to unlock HIIT modes; basic remote-only use is limited
Full Review
Auto-incline is the walking pad feature of 2026, and the Urevo SpaceWalk 3S is one of the cleanest implementations under $400. The motorized incline tops out at 9% across nine levels, which transforms a passive desk-walking session into something that actually moves the needle on calorie burn and posterior-chain engagement.
The Incline Is the Point
Flat walking pads cap out around 100-150 calories per hour at desk speeds. Crank the SpaceWalk 3S to 9% and that figure roughly doubles without raising your pace. More importantly, incline walking opens up the hip flexors and glutes — muscles that desk-sitters chronically underuse. The auto-incline runs off the remote or app, so you can ramp up mid-meeting without bending over to mess with the deck.
The frame uses a four-point support structure rather than the cheap two-point pivot you see on budget incline pads. That means less wobble at higher elevations and a more stable feel underfoot.
Motor and Belt
The 2.5HP motor is quiet at walking speeds and tops out at 6.2 mph, which is fast enough for a light jog but not serious running. The belt is 42.5” long and 16.5” wide — fine for walking, tight for jogging if you’re over 6 feet or have a wide stride. The DeerRun Z10 offers a 3.0HP motor and 12% incline at a similar price, but it’s noticeably louder and gives up the polished app experience.
App and HIIT Modes
The UREVO app unlocks scenic-route HIIT programs that automatically adjust speed and incline. It’s genuinely useful — set a 20-minute program and walk while you read email, no manual fiddling. Without the app you’re limited to manual control via the remote, which works fine but underuses the hardware.
Who Should Buy This
Buy the SpaceWalk 3S if you want incline. Calorie-burn maximalists, anyone with tight hip flexors from sitting, and walkers who’ve plateaued on a flat pad will all feel the difference immediately. If you want more incline and don’t mind motor noise, the DeerRun Z10 stretches to 12% for slightly less money. If you only ever walk at 2 mph on flat ground and don’t care about HIIT, save your money and grab a WalkingPad A1 Pro — the SpaceWalk 3S is overkill for purely passive desk use.
